Google Earth: This free download is both useful and fun! Zoom in on your home in Korea or anywhere in the world. Find new routes to work or shopping. Very handy and entertaining.

Skype: Also a free download, Skype offers text chat, voice, and video. With a headset and microphone, you can talk free to any other Skype user in the world. Even better, you can use Skype to phone home at very low rates.

Time Zone Converter: Make sure you know what time it is back home before you call, or help friends and family back home set up appropriate times to phone you.

Currency Converter: Find out exactly what you are getting paid in your home currency. Handy tool when sending money home.

Subway maps: Great for trip planning! Print one out and take it with you.

Korea Rail online: Use this handy tool to plan trips. Gives schedules, availability, and fares.

Inter-City bus schedules: Also great for travel planning. Gives schedules and fares.
