How to Apply to Global English Teachers

You can apply to GET via our online application, by e-mail, or by phone.

When applying online, please also e-mail your resume and photo separately. Please send resumes in Word or RTF (Rich Text) formats. Photos should be .jpg or .jpeg formats, and 1Meg or less.

When applying by e-mail, please include your preferred start date, and date of birth (required for visa processing), as well as a photo and full resume including contact information.

When applying by phone, please have all the above information ready. You will also need to mail or e-mail your resume and photo.

A few important notes:

Photos are a normal part of the application process. Although not absolutely required, it is very rare for a school to hire a teacher without a photo. You will also need to provide photos for the visa application process.

Date of birth is required for the visa process.

Please give your name exactly as it appears on your passport for flight bookings and visa processing. For example, if you go by Jim, but your passport reads James, we must use James for all official documents.
